1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MintiMoney ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

MintiMoney is a mobile application that helps users track shared expenses, split bills, and manage group finances. The App allows you to:

  • Create and manage expense groups
  • Add and track shared expenses
  • Split costs among group members
  • View balances and settle debts
  • Access spending insights and reports

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any viruses, worms, or other malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Create false or misleading expense records
  • Use the App to defraud other users

5. Expense Tracking and Settlements

5.1 Accuracy of Information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the expense information you enter into the App. MintiMoney is not responsible for any disputes arising from inaccurate expense data.

5.2 Settlements

The App calculates suggested settlement amounts based on the expense data entered by users. Actual payments and settlements are made outside the App, and MintiMoney is not responsible for ensuring payment completion.

5.3 Group Dynamics

You acknowledge that expense sharing involves coordination with other users. MintiMoney is not responsible for resolving disputes between group members.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MintiMoney and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

MintiMoney is not a financial institution and does not provide financial advice. The expense calculations provided are for informational purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINTIMONEY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MintiMoney and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your expense data and interactions with other users

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
